Ah, the Renault Clio, a supermini conspicuous by its absence in the UK top 10. Maybe we don’t love a bit of va va voom quite like we used to, which is a shame because the Clio is rather good. Being the best-selling car in France helps it to secure third place in the European chart. It’s also worth mentioning the Captur, which made it into the top 10 in December and contributed to a 9.2% rise for Renault across the entire year.
