Angled Bob

The bob has been around for decades and this long a-line style is still popular in 2012. By adding funky pastel colors and texture bans and layers, this style will for sure be a head turner.

How to Style:
  1. Put the appropriate styling products in your hair after getting out of the shower and towel drying.
  2. Use your blow dryer to remove most of the moisture in your hair and then section off medium sized section, starting at your nape.
  3. Take your blow dryer and a medium sized round brush and blow dry each section dropping a new section down after the last one is completely dry.
  4. Blow dry hair under or out depending on the look you are going for.
  5. Blow dry your bangs forward and the side to finish off the look.
Recommended Products:
Use a mousse of foam right on toweled dried hair before you blow dry to amp up the volume. I love using foams on fine hair like Wella’s Enrich Bouncy Foam. Foams are lighter than a mousse and are less likely to weigh your hair down throughout the day.
Best Hair Type and Face Shape:
Long bangs that come forward and to the side help hide a wide heart shaped forehead. Keeping the length a bit longer in the front also helps balance out the face shape. Most hair types and textures can pull this off. Girls with curls may find difficulty in flat ironing their hair this smooth so keep that in mind when consulting with your stylist.
Tip: Bringing in two photos of the same haircut or style to your stylist will help a lot. Having photos of the cut from different angles will help you both get a better understanding of what’s going on with the haircut.
