Chiseled Layers

This adorable cut frames the face beautifully with chiseled layers in the front and longer layers throughout. An extreme part also helps frame the face and create a fun shape. This is also a fabulous, amazing example of a rich red color. Reds and copper colors are very on trend for 2012. This particular photo shows a deeper base with subtle copper highlighting throughout to help create movement and depth.
How To Style:
  1. Use your blow dryer to remove most of the moisture in your hair and then section off medium sized section, starting at your nape.
  2. Take your blow dryer and a medium sized round brush and blow dry each section dropping a new section down after the last one is completely dry.
  3. Blow dry your hair under to create this particular style.
  4. Really pull hair up and back when you reach the top sections of your add for optimal volume.
  5. Use a flat iron to really smooth your bangs forward and to the side.
Recommended Products:
Whenever you blow-dry or use heat on your hair you will want to use some sort of protecting product. You can use Moroccan Oil’s Signature Treatment Serum in your hair wet and dry to protect hair from heat, humidity, frizz, and more.
Best Face Shapes & Hair Types:
Heart shaped faces rejoice! The layers are cut to add visual interest around a narrower chin and full side bangs minimize a wider forehead.
Tip: Use the flat iron to help flick under any pieces that didn’t quite make the cut with your blow dryer. Flat iron quickly so as not to burn or damage any strands.
