Rich Ringlets

A deep side part, lovely ringlets, and reddish highlights are the ingredients that make this style fresh and interesting. Even though there are no bangs or tons of layers, the exaggeration of other elements make this style fun and in style.

A heart face shape with curly medium hair

How to Style:
  1. Part your hair deep to one side and comb through.
  2. Prep your hair with a heat protectant and then section out a bottom section of hair.
  3. Use a 1” sized curling iron and curl the pieces of the dropped down section until entire section is curled.
  4. Then drop down another section of hair and repeat until the entire head is curled. When curling focus on curling the ends rather than the roots so you get a smoother look at the roots as shown in the picture.
Recommended Products:
Start by using Prive’s Shine Serum throughout the hair before curling to add shine and protection. For a flexible hold hairspray try Paul Mitchell’s Super Clean Light Hold Finishing Spray. It is an aerosol spray that you can use before and after each curl to keep it soft and in place.
Best Hair Type and Face Shape:
Curls work great for heart shaped faces because they add volume around the chin and help balance out your shape. Medium to thick textured hair is best for this style.
Tip: If your hair doesn’t hold curl well throughout the day, pack a small travel sized hairspray in your purse for touch ups.
