How to Style:
- Part your hair to one side and blow dry hair with a round brush or paddle brush to smooth.
- When hair is completely dry section out the very top layer or bangs with a hair clip. Use a 1” sized barrel curling iron and curl your entire head.
- When you are done curling spray with a light hold hairspray or texture spray.
- Then put a small amount of serum in your hands, rub, and pull through the curls to break them up a bit and make them look loose.
- Remove the clip from the top section you left out and use a flat iron to smooth and flip back over the curls to blend in.
Try Kerastase’s Double Force Hairspray for medium hold after your curl. Spray and scrunch to add the fun whimsical texture. Then run a serum through with your hands like Redken’s Glass.
Best Hair Type and Face Shape:
This style minimizes a wide forehead that happens on heart shaped faces by pulling long bangs or layers over from the side. The voluminous curls help to balance the narrow jaw line and make this style perfect for heart shaped faces. This style probably would not work on girls with extremely fine hair.
Tip: If your long bangs or layers are weighing you down in the front, use a cute clip or bobby pin to help keep them up and to the side and not in your face.
