Suarez and Torres unite as Anfield welcomes back Reds heroes

Suarez and Torres united for Liverpool's 'All-Star' charity match

They were both kings of the Kop before big money departures but Liverpool fans got a glimpse of what could have been as Luis Suarez and Fernando Torres joined forces for the first time in their former club's charity match.
The Barcelona forward and Atletico Madrid striker both joined Steven Gerrard's team for the day against a side captained by Jamie Carragher as Anfield welcomed back a host of former Reds favourites, including Xavi Alonso and Luis Garcia.
There was even a polite reception for Chelsea duo John Terry and Didier Drogba, alongside a few other unlikely cameos.

Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher regained the acquaintance of his former England colleague John Terry, who was the lynchpin of Steven Gerrard's defence for the day.
