The Princess of Cambridge is meeting relatives from both the Royal and Middleton families for the first time.
Grandmother Carole Middleton and aunt Pippa arrived at Kensington Palace to see the baby just over 24 hours after she was born.
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall are also visiting the princess, whose name has not been revealed yet.
After proudly showing off the baby princess to the world as they left the Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital in London just 10 hours after her birth, the couple returned to Kensington Palace.
William and Kate are expected to remain there for a few days before they travel to their country retreat, Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

The Queen, who attended a military event at Richmond Castle, in North Yorkshire, was dressed appropriately in pink on the day her fifth great-grandchild, who was overdue, was born.

In celebration, London's Tower Bridge turned pink as did fountains in Trafalgar Square.
The moment William and Kate emerged through the doors of the Lindo Wing, supporters cheered and photographers and camera crews captured the first images of the baby girl.
Kate, 33, held the princess who was wrapped in a white shawl and a cream woollen bonnet, tied under her chin. She appeared to be fast asleep.
The couple smiled and briefly waved to the crowds and the world's media.
Prince George, now 21 months old, was earlier taken by his father to the private maternity unit to meet his baby sister.
It was the first time George has been officially seen in public in the UK since he left the same hospital himself as a newborn nearly two years ago.

It is thought that the princess could be christened before the Queen goes to Balmoral for the summer in a couple of months' time.
