Jeremy Clarkson planning on taking the Top Gear team to Netflix and the name is perfect name

fter being sacked from the BBC Jeremy Clarkson is now on the hunt to find the perfect replacement show and has apparently enlisted his Top Gear buddies James May and Richard Hammond to join him.
So it will be everything TG except the name, which the BBC owns the rights to, but following reports they’re planning a Netflix series a “source” has claimed they’re planning to call the show ‘House of Cars’, given a nod to another evil genius that people love to hate, Frank Underwood in House of Cards.
Now we know Clarkson won’t be returning to the BBC show, he has reportedly been busy meeting with different networks to plan his next venture and while there were meetings with ITV, streaming site Netflix is probably the perfect option due to the lack of ad breaks.

“The headache with ITV is going to be the potential conflicts of interest with advertisers,” a source told the Mirror, “What would they do if Jaguar or Volvo had a sponsorship deal but they wanted to berate its latest new car?
“Jeremy doesn’t like being told what to do. It could cause huge arguments,” we could’ve told you that.
The so-called ‘pal’ then added that if they did join Netflix the name would pay tribute to another of the streaming services biggest shows: “If it goes ahead, they’re planning to call it House of Cars, which is just genius.”
They should call it that whatever. We don’t know who is more scheming or has more of an ego Frank or Jeremy.
Whoever signs up the three stars will immediately have a hit on their hands, with an established audience around the world, we doubt too many will be that bothered whether it is made by Netflix or the BBC as long as it has got those Top Gear essentials – motoring calamity, Clarkson being Clarkson and lots of cars.
