How I came to call my cat Eve

Eve gets her name from the Eve in the Bible. Adam called his wife’s name Eve because she was the mother of all living. In a similar way, I chose to name my cat Eve because she would be the mother of all cats to me, as in she would be the first cat that I had owned.
