Concave Layers

Concave layers are layers that are uniform in size from top to bottom. Having short concave layers accentuates the roundness of the head and gives the hair a lot of texture. The disconnected long pieces in the front make the haircut look more modern and feminine.

How To Style:
1. Apply a smoothing product to wet hair.
2. Blow dry the hair smooth.
3. Polish sections of hair with a flat iron.
4. Apply a texture product to hair and detail the hair with fingers.
5. Set the style with a quick drying hairspray.
Recommended Products:
Spray Wax by Paul Mitchell will give an even and controlled distribution of texture to hair. This helps prevent getting too much product in the hair and having to jump back in the shower to wash it out.
Best Face Shapes and Hair Types:
Longer face shapes with medium to high density hair will look great in this haircut. The fringe will make the face appear shorter and the texture on the sides of will make it appear wider.
