According to a report by Reuters, around 688 people have lost their lives so far in the earthquake that hit Nepal on April 25, 2015. The magnitude of the earthquake, tremors of which were also felt in India, was recorded to be around 7.9 on the Richter scale and has caused massive destruction across the country.
