Tucked Away

Amazingly fabulous voluminous hair isn’t natural for most people, but it looks great on pretty much everyone and is manageable with the right products and tools. Warmer tones look inviting. The shine keeps it looking fresh. Notice the color in the bangs.

How To Style:
Start with a volumizing shampoo and condition, but go easy on the conditioner especially. After hair’s been towel dried, add in your favorite volumizing mousse or other styling product. Heat protection spray may or may not be necessary, depending on your styling product choice. Blow dry hair mostly dry, then use a large round brush or flip your head upside-down to get more lift at the roots. Blow-dry the rest of the way. Use a working hairspray to coat strands with a product that will help hold those curls in longer without the stiff look. Use large hot rollers for the extra bouncy volume-giving curls. Use your fingers to style curls the direction you want them to go. Smooth bangs over to one side, then spray everything with a bit of finishing spray to lock it in.
Best face shape and hair type:
Any shape, and hair type. Ask your stylist what products will give you the most body for your hair type.
Best hair product:
For awesome giant hair, try Big Sexy’s product line.
Tip: Curling irons flatten the strands as the slide your hair through the clamp. Hot rollers (rollers in general) help preserve the round shape of the hair, giving you a more full looking curl that lasts a lot longer.
