West Brom celebrated Jeff Astle day, wearing a replica of the 1968 FA Cup final kit that Astle wore, and scored the winner in. He tragically died aged 59 and it was ruled to be as the result of brain damage caused by repeated heading of heavy leather footballs. His grandson touched the match-ball before kick-off while five of Jeff's Wembley teammates from 47 years ago were also in attendance at the Hawthorns.
