Inception of 'One Direction'

Following the boot camp of their popular show The X Factor, the boys spent two weeks together in order to know each other and bond together and one of the boys, Harry came up with the band's name, One Direction.


Despite all entering The X Factor as individual singers, they were put together as a band, and made it to the live shows of the competition. During the boot camp phase of The X Factor, Harry came up with the band's name, One Direction.
