Bank Holiday weather: Britain to be as hot as Marbella at 21C

Weather for the Bank Holiday weekend is set to be mainly pleasant, with temperatures reaching 21C by Sunday - making the UK as hot as Marbella.
It's definitely barbecue weather, and possibly even beach weather, forecasters suggest.
Met Office spokeswoman Nicky Maxey told the Mirror: "Temperatures will creep up into the high teens and reach 20C or 21C by Sunday.
"It is a similar picture on Monday and could be warmer in spots with prolonged sunshine, this is due to high pressure over the Azores Islands affecting the UK weather."
However, some cloud cover could ruin things a little.
Leon Brown, meterologist at The Weather Channel, told Aol Travel: "It will be a mixed picture for the weekend. Quite cloudy over the south with some patches of light rain and drizzle on Saturday morning but becoming clearer with plenty of sunshine across Wales to northern England and southern Scotland.
"Temperatures will typically be in the high-teen Celsius, with the warmest over Hampshire to Dorset reaching 19C.
"A cold front then moves southwards on Saturday night to Sunday giving rain to the north overnight followed by brighter weather and scattered showers. The front weakening as it moves south across the Midlands and south east on Sunday afternoon giving just a little patchy light rain.
"South west England should stay dry. Clearer skies will follow to north England and Wales in the afternoon. Before the cold front reaches the south, temperatures should manage up to around 20C, but turn quite cool again over the north with temperatures not much above 10C.
"Monday will be a cool day and rather cloudy, but mainly dry. The best places for the sun will be south west England.
"Temperatures should manage 17 to 18C locally in the south but mostly in the 13 to 15C range across the UK."
The rest of next week remains cool in the north and near normal in the south, with a warm peak in the middle.
Leon added: "It will be quite cloudy at times with some weak fronts moving south, but next Wednesday and Thursday may see more sunshine across England and Wales with temperatures 18 to 21C."
