Ghost trees

Though solitary animals, spiders are known to make communal cobwebs, at times, for food security or to avoid danger. (Pictured) Following a devastating flood in Pakistan in 2010, many such trees wrapped in cobweb were seen across the affected areas. Spiders climbed onto the trees to escape rising water levels.
