Toronto-born Jane Child ruled the airwaves in the spring of 1990 with "Don't Wanna Fall in Love," off her self-titled debut album. Though a trained opera singer and accomplished session musician, Child might still be best remembered for her unusual aesthetic choices. We expected more of Child's outrageous fashion statements, if not another catchy tune.
