Police hunt man with spider tattoo after three bodies found

Police are hunting for a 21-year-old man with a distinctive spider tattoo as part of a murder probe into the deaths of a family in Didcot, Oxfordshire.
The bodies of a 44-year-old man, a 46-year-old woman and six-year-old girl were discovered at the property in Vicarage Road on Saturday night.
Police have appealed for help to trace Jed Allen, who was known to the family.
Speaking at a press conference, Detective Superintendent Chris Ward from Thames Valley Police said: "He is described as being 6ft tall, he is of large build. But distinctively, he has a tattoo on his left hand of a spider. It is very important that we locate him as quickly as we can."
Mr Ward added that although Allen was not considered a danger to the wider community, the public should not approach him and instead contact police.
The identity of the victims and the cause of their deaths have yet to be established.
Earlier, investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Simon Steel said: "A man, a woman and a girl were pronounced dead at the scene by ambulance staff. Their deaths are being treated as suspicious.
"This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the loved-ones of the deceased."
He added: "A scene watch is in place in Vicarage Road, which is currently closed with access to residents only.
"I understand this incident will have an impact on the community and residents will be concerned. As you can understand, we are in the early stages of this investigation, but we will work hard to make sure the community is kept updated when we can.
"We would urge anyone with any information about the incident to contact us immediately via 101 quoting reference number 1370 (23/5). Did you see or hear anything suspicious in Vicarage Road? If you did then we want to hear from you."
