Fresh Flip

Sleek blunt cut bangs are long and extremely modern. Having the bangs round out at the temples keeps the look soft. Tons of face framing layers are chiseled fantastically to add tons of interest, flip, and fun.

Long hairstyle flipped with rounded bangs

How to Style:
  1. Blow dry your bangs straight down with a paddle brush. Don’t use a round brush or you may get a bump and you want these bangs to lay flat.
  2. Continue to use the paddle brush to dry the rest of your hair.
  3. When hair is 90% dry use a medium sized round brush to really finish off the ends while blow drying. Flicking hair under around the face.
  4. Use a flat iron and really bevel ends under around the face.
  5. To get hair to flip out use the flat iron away from your face or use a curling iron and curl ends of the hair back and away from your face.
Recommended Products:
Keep your strands nourished and frizz free with Moroccan Oil’s Hydrating Styling Cream. Great for soft blow-outs with slight hold to really hold onto your flips and roll-unders. Apply to wet hair before you blow dry to protect from heat. When hair is dry apply Redken’s Glass Serum for more protection and shine.
Best Face Shape and Hair Type:
Square and round shaped faces may look too extreme with this cut but most other shapes can pull this off. Consider the size of your forehead before plunging into these dramatic bangs. The straighter your hair the better with this style and the amount of hair you have doesn’t really matter.
Tip: Ask your stylist if they offer complementary bang trims. Most stylist will be more than happy to help you keep up with your bangs.
