Seeing Red

Hair that falls past the shoulders in a fiery hue looks gorgeous with just the right amount of layering and side swept bangs. The bangs are cut right at eye level with layers starting right around the shoulders and blending down. This red tone makes this otherwise simple style really stand out.

Hairstyle for long straight red hair

How to Style:
  1. Comb and detangle hair out of the shower and part to the side.
  2. Blow dry your bangs forward with a large round brush to really polish them up. Then push them to the side with your fingers when dry.
  3. Continue using the round brush to smooth out and dry the rest of your hair. 4. If you still have some frizz when hair is completely dry – go back in and section out pieces of hair to flat iron.
Recommended Products:
Use Redken’s Color Extend products to really help keep color locked in to your strands instead of washing down the drain. For some added sparkle you might try PrivĂ©’s Shine Spray. Just mist it over your hair and then follow up with a flat iron for a shine you can see!
Best Face Shape and Hair Type:
This style would compliment all face shapes and any type of thickness of hair can try this style. If you have curly or wavy hair you will need to spend a lot more time blow-drying your hair straight.
Tip: Always keep up with color appointments to look your best. Color services help freshen up your color and keep your roots from showing.
