Pollwatch – 16 days to go

The Conservative party has nearly drawn level with Labour in the Press Association’s poll of polls.
With 16 days to go until the general election, Labour is on 33.9% and the Tories are on 33.7%.
Ukip are in third place on 13.3%, the Liberal Democrats are fourth on 8.3% and the Greens are fifth on 5.0%.
So far this month Labour has led the Tories in the daily poll of polls on 11 occasions. The last time the Tories had a lead over Labour was on April 5.
