Chelsea should complete the signing of Fiorentina and Colombia winger Juan Cuadrado today for a fee of around £26.1m, Sky sources understand. The proposed deal would see Mohamed Salah move on loan in the other direction and there are still some matters that remain to be resolved.
Those complications are expected to be resolved today, with both players expected to have a medical in London.
Andre Schurrle could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge though, with an agreement reached between the Germany midfielder and Wolfsburg over a proposed move back to the Bundesliga.
The 24-year-old joined Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen for £18m in June 2013 and has scored five goals in 22 appearances this season.
But Schurrle has struggled to secure a regular starting berth and he could move on, although some details remain to be resolved before that deal can go through.
