Flirty Flip

These choppy layers are perfect for flipping under or for flipping out. I absolutely love the long side bangs that blend perfectly into the layers. Hair is cut close to the neck and then chiseled up into whimsical pieces around the face.

How to Style:
  1. Apply a nice blow dry lotion to help with the blow dry and to protect your hair from heat.
  2. Blow dry your hair with a paddle brush to really smooth out the hair as your remove moisture.
  3. Flat iron the bangs to the side and bevel the ends back and away from the face.
  4. Start at the bottom of your hairstyle and use a large curling iron to flip out the ends of the hair strands.
  5. Drop down more hair in sections until you have flipped out all the ends of the hair.
  6. Gently break up your iron work with your fingers and then lock in place with hairspray.
Recommended Products:
A fabulous blow dry lotion is Redken’s Satin Wear. Apply and comb through before you blow dry for a silky soft finish. Use Healthy Sexy Hair’s Soy Weightless Touchable hairspray to keep the ends flipped out without weighing them down.
Best Face Shape and Hair Type:
This face shape is good for girls with round and square shaped faces. If you have thin to thick or straight or wavy hair, this hairstyle can be rocked by you.
Tip:
Don’t hold the hair in the iron for too long or you could burn your hair. Just clamp the ends down, flip them out and release.
