A man has been arrested by counter-terrorism officers on suspicion of funding individuals fighting in Syria.
The 22-year-old was held in north London on suspicion of terrorist funding, contrary to Section 17 of the Terrorism Act 2000, Scotland Yard said.
He was taken to a central London police station where he remains in custody.
Two addresses in north London are being searched.
"The investigation is in relation to alleged funding of individuals engaged in the Syrian conflict," a Yard spokesman said.
