Stranger's Kidney Donation Leads To Marriage

A woman who donated her kidney to a total stranger last year is now marrying the grateful organ recipient.
Ashley McIntyre and Danny Robinson, of Louisville, Kentucky, are also expecting a baby in June.
Their love story began in January last year when Ms McIntyre overheard her mother discussing an appeal on the radio for a local 25-year-old man who needed a kidney.
Ms McIntyre, who was the same age as the patient, felt sorry for him because his house had also burned down on Christmas Day 2011 and his father had died of brain cancer a year later.
She called to volunteer as a donor and underwent a series of medical tests to see if the transplant would work.
It turned out they were a perfect match - in more ways than one.
Though she found Mr Robinson attractive when they met in March last year, Ms McIntyre did not then realise she would also give him her heart.
In April, she successfully had the surgery which left her with one kidney and him with three: hers and his two non-functioning ones.
Ms McIntyre and Mr Robinson stayed in touch, exchanging texts and phone calls, before they began dating in May
She told ABC News: "As soon as we started dating - not long after that - was when we realised, this was it."
Mr Robinson popped the question on Christmas Day last year.
His fiancee told Courier-Journal: "I never in a million years imagined this would happen ... it was a whirlwind.
"It's crazy how it all worked. It was all planned out by God."
