The Mad Hatter

This wild hairstyle is definitely a standout. Choppy layers are tapered up in the back and get longer towards the front of the face. The red crimson hue really takes this style to the next level!

How to Style:
  1. Start with clean, dry hair that has been parted slightly to one side.
  2. Use a 1-inch curling iron to add wave to the entire head of hair.
  3. After you have finished curling, rub a medium hold pomade through your palms and rub it from the neck up, pulling hair up and out to create that wild volume.
  4. Continue putting your hands in and pulling hair strands up and out away from the scalp to create volume and shape.
  5. Finish off with a hairspray of your choice.
Recommended Products:
L’Oreal Studio Line Overworked Hair Putty is the perfect product for this wild style.
Best Face Shape and Hair Type:
Round or heart shaped faces with thin to medium amounts of hair with any texture can rock this look.
Tip:
Be patient and take your time when adding pomade to your hair. Use your fingers to pinch and piece out strands until you are satisfied with the results. The nice thing about pomades is that they are flexible and forgiving, so you have plenty of time to get your hair into the shape you desire.
