She used to be on one of Britain's biggest TV shows, but EastEnders star Shana Swash's life isn't so glittering anymore.
It's been a fall from grace for the actress, who played teen mum Demi Miller in the long-running BBC soap from 2004 to 2006, and after landing just a few roles since then, she is now working in a London boozer.
Wearing a grey hooded top and white jeans, the 25-year-old was spotted behind the bar serving pints earlier this week.
Later in the day Shana looked downcast as she took out the bins while having a cigarette during her shift.
With not a scrap of make-up on, Shana looks like she's hardly aged since playing the teenage rebel.
Shana was axed from EastEnders a decade ago despite an online petition from fans begging producer to let the character, who had featured in several dramatic storylines, stay on.
Her arrival as a pregnant 13-year-old in 2004 caused quite a stir on the square and Demi was later involved in a Romeo and Juliet style romance with Leo, the father of her baby daughter Alesha, which kept viewers enthralled.
Their drama-filled romance saw the couple run away from their families, begin dealing drugs, abuse heroin and ended in tragedy when Leo committed suicide.
She was written out the show alongside mum Rosie, leaving with her daughter for a new life in the Cotswolds.
Since then she’s only worked sporadically, appearing in Scottish soap River City in 2008 and in the play Proud in 2009 - her last known role.
While her career failed to sparkle, her real-life brother Joe Swash’s career has exploded since leaving Albert Square.
Bidding farewell to Walford in 2011 Joe – who also played Shana’s onscreen brother Mickey in the soap – has since forged a new career as a TV presenter on ITV 2 spin-off show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here..Now.
He still wouldn’t mind bringing the Miller family back to the square though and last year admitted: "I'd definitely be interested in returning to EastEnders. If they ever phoned up, it would definitely be something I would think about.
"The timing would have to work for EastEnders and it would have to be right for me. It would be a tricky one but it would be a nice decision to make," he continued.
"I think they need to bring the whole family − the whole shabang − back. It would be nice to work with my sister Shana (who played Demi) again."
If Demi does return to Albert Square she could always get a job in the Queen Vic - she's got experience now!
