Layered Softly

Sometimes we think of a long bob hairstyle as short with all one length, but not this season!  The added soft layers, alongside beautiful highlights and lowlights creates a look that is sure to be a hit.

How to Style:
  1. Apply a medium hold blow dry spray (I love Label.m’s Blow Dry Spray) from roots to ends.
  2. Blow dry hair in sections, lifting hair up and away from your head to create volume, while turning ends under.  I recommend using a medium sized round brush, but if you have shorter layers, you can also use a small round brush.
  3. Using your favorite hairspray, mist over entire head and piece out and separate layers.
  4. Finish off with your favorite shine spray.
Recommended Products:
What’s my favorite hairspray? Pravana’s Super Shape! Use a fine mist for a soft brushable hold and layer to intensify the hold factor. It never builds up on your hair and washes right out.
Best Face Shape and Hair Texture:
The best face shapes for this easy and soft style are oval, diamond or heart, while medium to thick texture that is straight makes styling a breeze.
Tips:
Love this color? At your next appointment ask your stylist for honey blonde, with sandy (or beige) lowlights, that are separated, but not “chunky.”
