A Bit Asymmetric

Fun and flirty, this asymmetric long bob style has just enough edge, but is still office friendly!

How to Style:
  1. After shampooing and conditioning your hair with a volumizing or hydrating shampoo (depending on your hair’s needs), apply a straightening cream throughout.
  2. Blow dry hair using a flat or paddle brush.
  3. Once hair is completely dry, section in 3 (each side and back), and secure with clips.
  4. Turn your flat iron on to the lowest heat setting for your hair texture (this helps to protect hair from unnecessary heat damage). Mist hair with a heat protection spray; try Pravana’s Keratin Fusion Thermal Insulator Spray.
  5. Bring down 1-inch sections and smooth them with your flat iron. Slightly turn your wrist to create a soft bend at the ends.
  6. Mist the heat protection spray or shine serum into hands and smooth over ends if needed to finish your look.
Recommended Products:
A great straightening cream is Pravana’s Relax. It’s heat activated, so if you end up with a crease after sleeping, all you need to do is go over it with a flat iron (or blow dyer and brush) to smooth it right out.
Best Face Shape and Hair Texture:
Diamond and oval face shapes look great with this look. Hair that is medium density and naturally straight or wavy work best.
Tip:
If you love this style, but are maybe not ready for the asymmetries of it yet, that’s ok! Just ask your stylist to keep the length on both sides in the front.
