Soft Asymmetric Bob

Adding an asymmetric swing on one side of this long bob not only adds interest and style, but will updates the look as well. This is also a great step in starting to grow your hair out (although you may just change your mind!).

Asymmetric Swing Long Bob

How To Style:
  1. Add a volumizing cream to damp hair. Make sure to comb through to ensure product is evenly distributed.
  2. Begin to blow dry hair using a vent brush to remove 80% of the moisture, then switch to a medium to large round brush. This saves a lot of unnessary time round brushing.
  3. While drying hair with a round brush, dry it in sections, clipping hair up and out of the way.
  4. Direct the area on both sides of your head from the ears forward, tucking the ends under.
  5. Once hair is completely dry, you can smooth any areas that may need it with a flat iron set at the lowest heat setting for your hair type.
  6. Apply a shine serum like Pravana’s Perfection Shine Serum into your palms. Rub palms together to activate product and distribute into ends first, then work your way up.
Recommended Products:
A lot of finer haired clients are scared of any type of lotion in their hair, but Kevin Murphy’s Full Again thickening lotion doesn’t weigh your hair down and creates a full and smooth blow out!
Best Face Shape and Hair Texture:
Every face shape will look great with this look. Any hair type can also wear this look, you’ll just need to switch up products when drying hair according to your hair type.
Tip:
When working with curly or wavy hair, use a straightening cream in place of a thickening cream. When drying your hair, use small sections and make sure the air is directed down towards the floor to avoid frizz.
