Simply Straight

A long straight bob is sleek and sophisticated and takes you anywhere.

Casual Medium Blonde Style with Long Bangs

How To Style:
  1. After washing and conditioning hair with a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner, apply a straightening cream to hair. Comb hair to ensure product is distributed evenly.
  2. Begin blowdrying hair using a flat paddle brush. Make sure to keep your blow dryer pointed towards your ends. This helps to keep your hair smooth and minimizes fly aways.
  3. Turn your flat iron on the lowest heat setting for your hair type and mist hair with a heat protection spray. Section hair in 3, each side and back, and secure with clips.
  4. Bring 1-inch sections down and comb through to take out any tangles. Starting near your root area, slide a flat iron through each section. Be sure to keep the flat iron moving. This helps keep unnecessary heat damage away.
  5. After you’ve smoothed out your entire head, apply a shine serum starting at your ends.
Recommended Products:
For this sleek look, a few products are needed. Here are my favorites! Pravana’s Relax Straightening Cream is heat activated, lightweight and adds serious shine. Heat Protection Spray from Label.m will protect your hair without adding any hold or weight. Perfection Shine Serum from Pravana adds shine, smooths flyaways and nurishes your hair from the inside.
Best Face Shape and Hair Texture:
Heart shaped beauties with wavy to straight hair that is medium to fine will rock this look with ease.
Tips:
Take the guess work out of flat iron shopping. Ask your stylist for a recommendation on one that they sell at the salon. If they don’t have them, go to your local beauty supply and look for a Hot Tools or Babyliss ceramic iron.  Both are good brands that are commonly used in the salon.
