How To Style:
- Back comb dry hair to get body at the roots.
- Gather hair to one side and then split it into two sections. Begin your fishtail braid.
- If you’ve never done a fishtail braid, look on YouTube for a tutorial video. It’s must easier to learn by watching someone do it as opposed to trying to read how to do it!
- Secure your braid with a ponytail holder and then spray everything with a light hold finishing spray.
This look is fabulous if you have thick hair that you want to keep out of your face without compromising your style. A round face shape will be flattered by this look because it will make your face seem slim.
Recommended Products:
I completely adore using dry shampoo when back combing to get added body. Try Fresh Hair by Kevin Murphy. It smells lovely and won’t leave a ton of residue!
Tip:
Give yourself a break when learning to create a fishtail braid. It may take a few tries before you get it perfect!
