Auburn Aura

Minimal layers means you can really highlight your smooth shiny hair. The angled layers in front and textured bangs make this look really va va voom! Adding a touch of red to this brunette makes a fun spicy statement, too.

How To Style:
As always, put the appropriate styling products in your hair after getting out of the shower and towel dry.

An angled and layered shoulder length haircut

  1. Use your blow-dryer to remove most of the moisture in your hair. Use a paddle brush for this to really help make your hair smooth
  2. Take your blow-dryer and a medium sized round brush and blow-dry medium sized sections of hair starting near your neck. Drop down a new section and continue until hair is completely dry.
  3. Blow dry your bangs forward and down.
  4. Take a flat iron and really bevel hair under and towards the face. Also use the iron to add smoothness and shine to your bangs and any other pieces that need it.
Recommended Products:
You don’t need to add any hold to your hair when you want to blow it out straight. Choose products that will help smooth like Biolage Smooththerapie Deep Smoothing Serum by Matrix. Not only will it help protect your hair from heat but it has anti frizz and humidity control. Also helps with shine!
Best Face Shapes & Hair Types:
This hairstyle would look great on all face shapes. The thicker bangs shown in the picture would look great on girls who already have a lot of hair. The straighter your hair is naturally the easier it will be to pull off this sleek style.
Tip: Make sure the amount of bangs you opt for is proportional to the overall amount of hair you have. If you have tons of hair choose a thicker bang and vise versa with thinner hair
