Cornrows

So you’ve learned how to French braid and learned a variation called the Dutch braid. Cornrows are another variation! Instead of adding new hair to the strands on the left and right, you add a strand to the center as well. Having conrows braided sleek against the head makes the texture next to it look bigger.
