Scarlette

This chic bob is graduated shorter in the back and longer in the front. The graduation seems higher because it was round brushed and styled with volume on the crown.

Bob Hairstyle with Volume

Bob Hairstyle with Volume Side

How To Style:
  1. Apply a styling product to wet hair.
  2. Flat wrap the shorter hair using a styling brush and a blow dryer.
  3. Blow dry sections of longer hair on the top and sides of the head as far away from its natural fall as you can to create volume. Make sure to really round the ends.
  4. Tease the hair on the crown area and the sides.
  5. Set the style with finishing spray.
Recommended Products:
Extra-Body Sculpting Foam is a mousse that will give the hair a voluminous blowout.
Face Shape & Hair Type:
The haircut and the volume on the crown area suits wider face shapes with hair that is medium in texture and density. Having volume on the sides of the face will make a wide face shape seem wider.
Tip:
Graduation is a beautiful technique. It allows a stylist to change the shape of the head into a more desirable one. If the back of you head is flat, graduation could be used to make it look rounder and give you a better profile. It could be used to make your profile more feminine and sexy! That being said, make sure that it is used to enhance the shape of your head and not make it look worse.
