Denise Richards serves ex-husband Charlie Sheen with $1 million lawsuit

Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Denise Richards has hit the actor with a $1.2 million (£800,000) lawsuit, alleging he broke the terms of a financial agreement they had for her housing.
Richards filed for divorce from the Two and a Half Men star in 2005 after three years of marriage, and subsequently became embroiled in a bitter custody battle over their daughters Sam, 11, and Lola, 10.
And the fight continues as Richards has filed legal papers against Sheen, claiming he hasn't kept his word on an agreement in which he promised to provide a home for the actress and their two kids.
In the documents obtained by TMZ.com, the actress alleges Sheen agreed to pay for her house as long as they lived next door to him in the Mullholland Estates neighbourhood of Los Angeles.
However, she claims Sheen evicted them from the residence in September (15), and has yet to provide them with a new house, adding that she has been shelling out $15,000 (£10,000) a month for a rental.

In addition, Richards also details threatening conversations he allegedly had with their daughter, claiming he called Lola a "f*****g pig whore", and told her "I'm going to kill you and I'm going to kill your mum."
She also claims to have text messages and letters in which Sheen further wishes death upon his ex, as well as other nasty insults.
Richards is seeking $1.2 million from Sheen in order to buy a new house.
Sheen's lawyers defend their client to TMZ.com, saying, "This is a desperate attempt to get more money... In addition to what Charlie has been paying Denise, he also pays for school, all expenses and it's still not enough for her. He intends to fight this and believes he will prevail."
His lawyer also claims that Sheen has already paid Richards $20 million (£13 million) since their divorce, including $55,000 (£36,667) per month for child support.
News of Richards' lawsuit comes after Sheen's other ex-wife Brooke Mueller, who shares twin sons with the actor, reportedly checked in to an undisclosed rehab facility for a six-month programme.
