Elizabeth Taylor - "Cleopatra" (1963)

  • British actress Elizabeth Taylor on May 8, 1962 during the filming of the famous movie “Cleopatra” in Rome’s Cinecitta Studio in Italy, which at the time of filming was the most expensive film ever made.
In the role of Egyptian queen Cleopatra, Elizabeth Taylor wore a famous 24-carat gold cape, which resembled the wings of a phoenix.
