Gary Lineker at centre of Twitter storm after making 'inappropriate' joke following Brussels terror attacks

Gary Lineker has sparked fury from some Twitter users after making a joke about security surrounding the England team following the Brussels terror attacks.
Former Three Lions striker Lineker was responding to a tweet from a journalist quoting Roy Hodgson reassuring the press that people were working "very hard" to ensure England's safety.
Lineker responded: "I think we all worry about our defence."
The tweet was immediately condemned.
One user said: "Very, very bad taste." Another added: "Absolutely not called for mate."
A further tweet read: "That's pretty crass Gary." While another simply stated: "Inappropriate."
Attacks in the Belgian capital earlier this week claimed the lives of 31 innocent people.
England take on Germany in Berlin on Saturday evening before hosting the Netherlands at Wembley on Tuesday.
