UMBERTO ECO (JAN. 5, 1932 - FEB. 19, 2016)
The Italian writer, Umberto Eco, who is best known for his novel "The Name of the Rose," passed away at his home on Feb. 19. He was 84. Some of his other novels include "The Island of the Day Before," "The Prague Cemetery," "Foucault's Pendulum," and "Numero Zero."
