French Twist Side Ponytail

Very similar to The Jasmine inspired side pony, this is a full side ponytail. It is twisted in the back similar to a French twist, so it’s directed toward the face to make a lovely frame.



How To Style:
Curl the entire head with a one and a half inch iron. Spray with hair spray but do not break up your curls. Take the top section of your hair and separate it. Then back comb it for volume and brush and smooth the hair into a soft twist at the back of the crown and pin. Take the remainder of the hair, and pull everything off to one side in large seperate sections. Softly twist each section and bobby pin it to the side of the head so the curls cascade downward. Smooth and seperate the sections of curls by hand, using Spray de Mode hairspray and Gloss Spray Shine. Spray all over with hairspray and go.

Bumble and Bumble’s Styling Lotion, Thickening Spray, Gloss Spray Shine, Spray de Mode or Classic Hairspray.
Best Hair Type:
This side pony works well on most hair types, but it helps if the hair is a bit finer and has some wave to it.
Tip: Always start by blow drying your hair with base products. This is to prep your hair to be put up into a special occasion style. Play with the hair until it looks pretty. It is not an exact science, this is like creating a moving sculpture. Adjust it until you like the way you look. Then hair spray it heavily so it stays all day or night through any event.
