Possible Sightings Of Missing Mum And Son

Police have revealed there have been possible sightings of missing mother Rebecca Minnock and her three-year-old son.
The 35-year-old mother has been on the run with Ethan since a judge ruled that he should live with his father, Roger Williams.
Police are appealing for public help to find the pair, and today said there had been possible sightings of Miss Minnock - who likes to be known as Becky - in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, and also the Birmingham area.
"We are keen to hear from Becky or anyone who knows her whereabouts to contact us," Detective Chief Inspector Marie Wright said.
"As time goes on, we're really concerned about the emotional impact this will have on Rebecca and Ethan because the court process cannot be evaded forever.
"We need to find Becky and Ethan very, very quickly."
Miss Minnock vanished a day before she was due to attend a court hearing on 27 May. She had been told that Ethan would be taken to live with his father.
The pair were last seen in the Musgrove Park Hospital area of Taunton, although it is believed she has since made contact with a member of her family.
A statement released on behalf of the boy's father, Roger Williams, says he is working closely with authorities to ensure Ethan is found and the decision of the court is upheld.
"This is a very difficult time for Roger Williams and his family," the statement says. "The welfare and safe return of his only child, Ethan, is understandably his priority."
Police say they have interviewed the driver of a black Ford Focus, who they believe drove Miss Minnock from the Somerset town.
However, they now believe she is relying on public transport because she does not have access to a car.
