Lee’s long association with Hammer Film Productions began with this film. He played the role of The Creature, stitched together in a macabre experiment by Baron Victor Frankenstein (played by Peter Cushing). Lee went on to appear in over 20 horror films from Hammer, starring alongside Cushing in many of them.
