First look: World's highest, longest glass-bottom bridge

One of the world’s most impressive glass-bottom bridges, spanning two cliffs in China's Hunan province, opens in May 2016. As workers start to install the first pieces of glass on the bridge in January, here’s a dramatic first look at world's highest and longest glass-bottom bridge.

Set against panoramic views in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the bridge is 1,410 feet (430 meters) long, 20 feet (6 meters) wide and hangs 984 feet (300 meters) above the ground.
