Lionel Messi has responded to claims he splashed €32million on a super-rare Ferrari - and it's brilliant.
Claims emerged earlier in the week that the Barcelona ace had won the 1957 Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti at an auction.
There were even reports the Argentine had outbid long-time rival Cristiano Ronaldo to do so.
But taking to Instagram on Thursday Messi sought to set the record straight in very humorous fashion.
Posing with a toy red car Messi posted:
Messi missed Barca's midweek clash with Valencia after undergoing a minor kidney procedure on Tuesday.
