Actress Nicky Whelan, best known for playing Pepper Steigner in Neighbours, is engaged to former NFL American footballer Kerry Rhodes.
The couple confirmed the engagement on Valentine's Day, with Nicky sharing a picture on social media, captioned 'He's the one #engaged', with the diamond ring emoji.
Nicky spoke to people about the proposal, and revealed 'I walked into our lounge Friday evening, and he was on his knee with a beautiful box in his hands. I saw the sparkle coming out of the box, so pure and perfect and simple. And very unexpected.'
