Curly Angle

Love that steep, angled bob that you see around town, but think you can’t do it because of your curls? Check out this hot version of it! Beautiful coppers accentuate a steep angle paired with beautiful curls.

How To:
  1. To keep your color protected, make sure to shampoo using a sulfate-free color safe shampoo and conditioner.
  2. Work a texturizing gel through hair, combing with a wide tooth comb to make sure product is evenly distributed.
  3. Scrunch hair in hands to boost curl as you blow dry with a diffuser. Place curls where you want them to fall, higher up in the stacked back and pulled lower in the angle.
  4. Once it’s all dry, apply a frizz fighting serum by scrunching it through the hair and running your fingers softly through individual curls.
  5. Take the front and comb it back to secure with bobby pins.
Recommended Products:
A great texturing gel that I use a lot is Kevin Murphy’s Hair Resort Lotion. It’s lightweight, provides great hold and shine, plus, a little goes along way!
Best Face Shape and Hair Texture:
Oval and heart shaped faces wear this angled look well. Hair that is quite curly and medium to thick in texture works with this style best.
Tip:
This style is structured off a great haircut provided by a great stylist. Research a stylist by checking online reviews and the salon’s website. There are even stylists out there that specialize in curly hairstyles and cuts!
