How To:
- To keep your color protected, make sure to shampoo using a sulfate-free color safe shampoo and conditioner.
- Work a texturizing gel through hair, combing with a wide tooth comb to make sure product is evenly distributed.
- Scrunch hair in hands to boost curl as you blow dry with a diffuser. Place curls where you want them to fall, higher up in the stacked back and pulled lower in the angle.
- Once it’s all dry, apply a frizz fighting serum by scrunching it through the hair and running your fingers softly through individual curls.
- Take the front and comb it back to secure with bobby pins.
A great texturing gel that I use a lot is Kevin Murphy’s Hair Resort Lotion. It’s lightweight, provides great hold and shine, plus, a little goes along way!
Best Face Shape and Hair Texture:
Oval and heart shaped faces wear this angled look well. Hair that is quite curly and medium to thick in texture works with this style best.
Tip:
This style is structured off a great haircut provided by a great stylist. Research a stylist by checking online reviews and the salon’s website. There are even stylists out there that specialize in curly hairstyles and cuts!
