Volvo 850

Volvo always had a bit of a tardy image. Driven by history teachers, Volvos were dated before they even left the factory, but at least they were practical and reliable. But in 1992 it brought out the 850, and on first glance, you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s more of the same. Only, the 850 represented Volvo finally embracing four-wheel drive, and you could even get a bonkers 230hp T5 version. The 850 increased in desirability when it was entered in the BTCC in 1994 - suddenly Volvo estates were cool.Find a used Volvo 850 on Auto Trader
