Mahogany Curls

A smooth and voluminous crown and top adds a different kind of look to your curls and is great for a special night out.



How To:

1. After shampooing hair, towel dry by scrunching towel through ends of hair.
2. Apply a curl cream to ends, try Pravana’s NEVO model behavior.
3. Work all through hair and air dry or dry using a blow dryer and diffuser.  Remember to use a higher heat setting, but low force.
4. While drying use a wide tooth comb through top of hair to pull most of the curl out, but stopping where you want your tendrils to begin.
5. Smooth top with brush or comb.  If more volume is desired, lift sections and back comb with comb or brush.

Recommended Products:
To support the extra volume through the top, use a root volumizing mousse, such as Pravana’s Elevate.
Best Face Shape and Hair Texture:
Hair that is not extremely curly at the root area achieves this look easiest.  A heart or round face shape wear this look nicely.
Tip:
When drying, if your ends start to frizz, stop drying!  This will stop the frizz and allow you to control it before it gets out of hand.
