Attack at the Charlie Hebdo office in Paris
According to the Reuters,
12 people have been killed, including two police officers, when two masked
gunmen opened fire with automatic weapons at the Paris office of a satirical
weekly newspaper Charlie Hebdo.
The publication has previously courted controversy for its caricatures of
Prophet Muhammad and has had its offices fire-bombed in November 2011. French
President Francois Hollande was quoted by the BBC
as saying that this was a terrorist attack "of exceptional
barbarity."
